Services

In order to support PAAP’s vision of a just world without poverty, we have set agenda for 2023 – 2030 with five objectives to change the communities in which we work:

(A) EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES TO FIGHT SOCIAL JUSTICES

People claiming their right to a better life, more women, young people and other poor and marginalized people will exercise civil and political rights to influence decision-making by engaging with governments and by holding governments and businesses accountable.

(B) ADVANCING GENDER JUSTICE

More poor and marginalized women will claim and advance their rights through the engagement and leadership of women and their organizations. Violence against women will be significantly less socially-acceptable.

(C) AGRICULTURE AND SUSTAINABLE FOOD

More people who live in rural poverty will enjoy greater food security, income, prosperity and resilience through significantly more equitable sustainable food systems.

(D) CLIMATE CHANGE

Marginalized people will be significantly more resilient, despite rising competition for land, water, food and energy sources, and stresses caused by a changing climate.

(E) PEACE AND SECURITY

To increase citizen engagement in peace building and improve attitudes and perceptions towards coexistence, trust building and appreciation of diversity.

ICT Help

We help development sector, humanitarian and non-profit organizations to implement better, low cost and efficient Information Communication and Technology (ICT).

Our Values

We never lose sight of who we are, and those we serve. These are the values that guide our decision making every day..

Here’s how we fight poverty.

PAAP tackles poverty from multiple angles. See how we focus our efforts in the fight against poverty.

Crisis

Whether it is a sudden emergency or an ongoing crisis, PAAP works to aid people in need around the world.

Our 2025 Goal: PAAP provides quality, gender-focused, and localized humanitarian assistance to 10% of those affected by major crises, reaching at least 20 million people by 2025.

Food & Water

Hunger and malnutrition remain the leading threats to public health worldwide.

Our 2025 Goal: 10 million people, the majority of them women, and girls, increase their fulfillment of their right to adequate food, water, and nutrition.

Health

20 women die every day in Ghana due to poor maternal health and preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth

Our 2025 Goal: 5 million people globally increase the fulfillment of their right to health, and 2 million women their right to sexual and reproductive health.

Education & Work

Education and the right to work are the most powerful tools in overcoming extreme poverty.

PAAP works to increase access to quality education for marginalized children, particularly adolescent girls living in fragile and conflict-affected settings.

Climate

We believe that everyone has the right to live on a healthy planet.

Our 2025 Goal: 20 million poor and marginalized people, particularly women and girls, have strengthened their resilience and adaptive capacities to the effects of climate change and are contributing to the energy transition.

Equality

PAAP strives for a world that is equal for all genders.

Our 2025 Goal: 10 million people of all genders experience greater gender equality (particularly eliminating Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and increasing women and girls’ voice, leadership, and education).

What I love so much about PAAP is the transparency - knowing where the funds are going. I love the ability to get the feedback, to be able to connect with those who are on the ground, who are actually seeing the projects come to fruition.

I am so excited to use the PAAP platform to help make a little difference in the world. As just one person, when you look at world poverty, it can be overwhelming. But it's great to join with other people and know that we can make a difference in the world.

We use PAAP all the time and even though Isaac and Palmar can sometimes only give a dollar or two from their allowance, we are teaching them how to give and how rewarding and important it can be.

In one click of a button, you have just met a need in a totally different nation, which I think is absolutely incredible. And to see the stories and the people you get to directly impact, which is definitely powerful .
